We Americans have been on a collision course with many inconvenient truths, and I see the month of August as the perfect storm to focus on our cumulative challenges and solutions. We can accomplish a lot by focusing on our pandemic response, and our dependence on healthier politics and a more responsive governance to deal with a multiple of issues. Again, We The People are the “they” who can best come to our rescue. This potential success is dependent on TRUTH, a better informed populace, a more civil political discourse and responsive governance. Read on and consider what we can achieve…TOGETHER.

Spring has sprung, and we’ve got many reasons to be optimistic. So, why are so many of us still stressed, tired and sympathetic with this sculpture? Five years of poisonous politics, layered with 15 months of Covid-19…enough to take its toll on most of us. Memorial Day reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice. So, the least we can do is raise our game in civic engagement to honor those who enabled our attempts at self-governance. We The People are better than this. Our children deserve better than this.
