We’re Climbing Out Of This Mess…With Our Commitment and Our VOTES…
The polls still have it close, but there is NO EQUIVALENCE. In Harris/Walz we have experienced, high-integrity public servants. On the other hand, Trump is a self-serving, narcissist charlatan, governance novice and convicted felon. And, I don’t mean that in a bad way. We’ve had much too much disinformation and misinformation, but the performance from both camps is quickly bringing the choices into focus. The bluff and bluster, non-stop fear mongering and blatant lying from Trump/Vance is being effectively countered by sizeable constituencies from all backgrounds who are supporting the Harris/Walz team. Kamala’s campaign counsel has been excellent, especially on such short notice.
What a Shame When We Have Such Difficulty with TRUTH…Critical to Healthy Debate and Effective Conflict Resolution…
This campaign season features struggles with TRUTH as never before. The bad folks, foreign and domestic, are manipulating the flow of information, and we’re having to be more vigilant to glean fact from fiction. Much relates to sources of information, and the next few days will be typified by an abundance of disinformation. I often simplify my quest for context and perspective by calling on the tried and true, such as this gem from Octavia Butler.
Here is another simple but powerful admonishment from another highly-respected citizen of the world…Nelson Mandela…someone who could best appreciate the importance of Democracy and the power of THE VOTE…
Let’s Support These Good Folks…There Is NO BETTER CHOICE!
Are they our Dream Team? Perhaps not. But there is NO equivalence, and Harris/Walz are our best/only hope to provide experienced, high-integrity political/governmental leadership. We are fortunate to have them and must support them…for their sakes, ours and our children’s. An easy choice for me.
VOTER FROG…NOT VOTER FRAUD…
We’re down to the wire. We’re worn out, disappointed in the process, disappointed in many family and friends, and, truth be told…afraid for our Country. However, we can’t let down our guard. Time to rise to our significant occasion, make our votes count, and encourage family, friends and colleagues to join us in support of Harris/Walz. May the Gods of Our Understanding bless these candidates, bless this Country and give us the courage and compassion to thoughtfully exercise this sacred stewardship of Democracy. VOTE!
