We've just experienced a political earthquake. And we'll be dealing with the aftershocks for weeks and months to come. The election was a painful wakeup call to remind us that there lots of folks hurting, fearful and disgusted with government. Or lack thereof. They really didn't vote for a Party or candidate. They voted for CHANGE.
This Thanksgiving provides a wonderful opportunity for constructive conversation and significant steps towards individual healing. And we each can further that goal. This Mosey Commentary may prove helpful in that regard. LET'S MOSEY!

I need to "Man Up" and extend an apology. I'd been listening to those whom I considered ill-informed political hacks at the State and National levels talking about massive voter fraud. Our Texas Governor described it as "rampant" voter fraud. Then I encountered VOTER FROG and realized that I must be mistaken. They were not that ignorant or manipulative. They meant VOTER FROG. My Bad! Join me as we enjoy VOTER FROG and consider our important votes. LET'S MOSEY!

An embarrassing number of otherwise sane and thoughtful folks have been unduly influenced beyond their logical capacity for reason. They're scared to death of Clowns, The NRA and Hillary. I call the phenomenon the "Keyser Soze Effect." You might recall this intimidating myth from "The Usual Suspects" movie with Kevin Spacey, et.al. This communal response might be funny, but it's actually dangerous. You might find this Mosey commentary helpful as you reflect on "proportional response." This will hopefully assist as you converse with family, colleagues and that friend in the mirror. If this resonates, share with your network. Thanks. LET'S MOSEY!

My photo of dear departed Congressman J.J. "Jake" Pickle reminds me of the best in public service. He understood constituent relations, political compromise and the art/science of effective communications. Our recent extended period of poor BIPARTISAN political leadership has been a painful reminder that we've got serious challenges with participatory government. And it's not just the fault of our elected officials. We citizens/voters have been complicit to an extent, by fault or default. And we know we can and must do better. This latest Mosey commentary may be helpful in your personal/public deliberations. LET'S MOSEY!

My West Texas horseback rides gave me the opportunity to appreciate the activity and action of the Roadrunner. I marveled at the quick response and effective use of energy from these streamlined dynamos. I can't help but appreciate the metaphor as I see our community need to convert words and concerns into constructive action. I hope you'll enjoy my latest Mosey message on this theme. If it resonates, please share. Thanks. LET'S MOSEY!
