We’ve got too much harsh about the land. Too much fear-mongering, road rage, racism, partisan rancor. Too little kindness and thoughtful interaction in many settings. We’ve been spread too thin through the Covid experience, have lost considerable patience and resilience as we’re tested in various ways. We find ourselves depressed, frustrated and disappointed in ourselves and others. Children listen and watch. They know. We know.
How nice it is to be positively disarmed by a smile. Among family, friends or from the perfect/imperfect stranger. An unexpected smile is often exactly what we needed. Let’s enjoy some delightful examples…As we savor these smiles, let’s be mindful of our behaviors, and consider how kindness and some strategic smiles can accomplish much good. ENJOY!
